I signed up for Sarah Sedwick’s Beginning Oil Painting class! I am excited to explore mixing oil paints and creating new values for my subject. I find going back to the fundamentals in art is helping me look at objects in a new way. I hope to add more depth in my art and continue to grow. This is what I love about the art process. You never really arrive somewhere. It’s all about the journey and the discovery of playing with light and dark. I normally use acrylics so this is a nice change for me. I will be sharing some of my paintings and drawings here as I navigate the world of oils.
